Cordys Cited as Strong Performer by Independent Research Firm in Platform-as-as-Service Market Reports, May 2011
Cordys Receives Highest Score for Application Development, Cloud Connectivity and Go-to-Market Model
Putten, The Netherlands, June 2nd, 2011 – Cordys, a leading provider of software for business process innovation, announced that it has been named as a Strong Performer in the May 2011 report “The Forrester Wave™: Platform-As-A-Service for Vendor Strategy Professionals, Q2 2011”. Cordys is among a key group of ten companies that Forrester Research, Inc. evaluated in the report.
Forrester’s Wave report assessed these top Platform-As-A-Service (PaaS) vendors on a 149-criteria evaluation of their strategy, current offerings, and market presence. The report is based on an analysis of data from vendor surveys, product demos and customer reference calls.
In its report Forrester identified that Cordys "supports multiple business models of services providers and system integrators”. As an example, the report notes that Cordys’ customer “Getronics/KPN is hosting Cordys to offer customers the mashup of business processes between various cloud and legacy systems.”
The report also stated that the PaaS offering of Cordys "provides extreme competitive value for ISV’s without existing code that is intended to be migrated into the PaaS offering.”
