Dr. Vogels is Vice President & Chief Technology Officer at Amazon.com where he is responsible for driving the company's technology vision, which is to continuously enhance the innovation on behalf of Amazon's customers at a global scale. Prior to joining Amazon, he worked as a researcher at Cornell University where he was a principal investigator in several research projects that target the scalability and robustness of mission-critical enterprise computing systems. He has held positions of VP of Technology and CTO in companies that handled the transition of academic technology into industry.

John Sculley is a Managing Partner along with former EDS and Perot Systems CEO, Mort Meyerson in InflexionPoint, an IT and financial services investment firm. InflexionPoint has offices in London, Delhi, Dallas, Boca Raton,FL and Toronto. John Sculley is best known as the marketing innovator who lead Pepsi-Cola Co. As CEO from 1978 - 1982 and CEO of Apple from 1983 - 1993. During his era, "Pepsi Generation" & "Pepsi Challenge" helped propel Pepsi to the largest selling packaged consumer brand in America. Sculley was recruited by Steve Jobs to help bring big brand consumer marketing to Apple. During Sculley's 10 years as Apple CEO, he helped launch Apple IIe, Macintosh in 1984, Desktop Publishing, and the Apple Powerbook.

Dave Cullinane is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for eBay where he is responsible for Global Fraud, Risk and Security strategy and programs to protect eBay and its many global businesses (StubHub, InternetAuction.co, eBay India, etc.).  Prior to joining eBay, Dave was the CISO for one of the largest banks in the United States.  He has more than 30 years of security experience and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a former Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP).

Ariel Eckstein is Managing Director of LinkedIn EMEA. LinkedIn is the world’s largest professional network with over 135 million members worldwide. Appointed in March 2011, Ariel is focused on developing, leading and delivering the company’s strategy and growth initiatives in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to his current role, Ariel was Director of LinkedIn’s Hiring Solutions business in EMEA. Before joining LinkedIn, Ariel was Vice President of Business Expansion for AOL Europe where he led the search, mobile and new markets business units and was responsible for pan-European strategic partners and business development.

Francis was born in 1953. He was educated at Abingdon School, Corpus Christi College, Cambridge and the College of Law and is married with five children. He practised at the criminal bar from 1977-85 and was a councillor for the City of Westminster from 1978-84. Francis was Member of Parliament for North Warwickshire from 1983-92 during which time he was PPS to Hon Peter Morrison MP, Minister of State for Employment, (1984-85); Assistant Government Whip (1985-87); Minister for Corporate and Consumer Affairs at Department of Trade and Industry (1987-89); Minister of State at Foreign and Commonwealth Office (1989-90); and Financial Secretary to the Treasury (1990-92).

Andy Nelson has been the Ministry of Justice CIO since September 2009.  He graduated from Oxford in 1980 and has gained over 27 years business experience focussing primarily on IT and business change.

Andy held a Senior Management role for Asda and was appointed as a business unit Chief Information Officer in GE Capital in 1998 and subsequently Group Director for Strategic Change and IS at RSA Insurance from April 2003 to the end of 2006. 

Since 2007 she is Global Observatory & Portfolio Director at BBVA, where she manages the relationship with major Innovation Center in the world working with BBVA (SRI, MIT, and Fraunhofer among others). Carmen began her career at BBVA in 2002 as IT Manager. She has had several responsibilities during this period ranging from the definition of the Backup and Recovery Services and defined and developed the PMO in the Data Center.

David is an innovative IT leader with a track record of driving change in large corporations and central government.  He is leading the cloud and consumerisation initiatives at BP. David is currently Strategy & Change Director for the global IT shared service group at BP.  Previously, he was CIO for JobcentrePlus in the UK and has also held senior IT roles in British American Tobacco and Arthur Andersen.

Andrew is the  Head of Technology Strategy and Architecture(Shared Services & Bupa Cloud) and is currently leading the adoption of Cloud , Consumerisation and Collaboration at Bupa. Andrew has held senior  IT positions over the last 17 years in both the Private Sector in the UK for Bupa and in the Public Sector in Australia for the Health Department of Western Australia (Kalgoorlie Regional Hospital and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital). Andrew has a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) from James Cook University and grew up in mining towns in Africa, Papua New Guinea, Western Australia and Northern Territory in Australia.

Andrew Greenway leads Accenture's cloud services programme globally. He has extensive experience in leading large IT organisations and projects and is currently working with many clients on cloud services implementations.  He has deep management consulting experience, with particular focus on helping clients improve business processes. He has also held senior marketing and supply chain executive positions

 Xen is the CTO for News International, and a specialist in disruptive technologies. He runs the Digital Engineering, Product and Operations teams across the various news titles - The Sun, The Times and The Sunday Times. Previously Xen was with Google where he ran Enterprise Solution Engineering for EMEA. His role involved overseeing the solutions engineering for all Google Enterprise applications including Google Search and Google Apps.

Glyn Hughes was commissioned as an officer in the British Army in 1978, graduated as an engineer from Cambridge University in 1983, and served in the Royal Engineers until 1996. His British Army service spanned four continents, and he gained an MSc in Systems Design, Fellowship of the Royal Geographical Society and the rank of Major. Following a brief commission in the New Zealand Army, Glyn moved into civilian life and IT Management in 1998.

Mark Adams - Wright is a highly experienced professional who has spent the last 12 years as a senior manager in the areas of IT and customer services with a range of public and private sector organisations. Mark began his management career with Diageo as European Customer Service Manager then on to DHL as Head of Global Programmes and has held roles with other blue chip organisations including Santander as Head of IT Service Control management and Dell Global services as Global and EMEA Business Technologies Lead.

Jos Creese is the CIO for Hampshire County Council.  In addition to running the IT group of technology and business professionals, Jos supports a variety of business change programmes enabled by IT for the Council.  Hampshire IT also provides services to several hundred other public sector organisations, and demands for shared services are growing.

Jos has over 25 years of IT management experience, and has worked for central government, district and unitary councils.Founder and Chair of the Local Public Service CIO Council and a member of the National Government CIO Council and was President of Socitm in 2010/11.

Daniel is focused on the growth and development of AppDirect including building relationships with customers and partners. He received a BA from McGill University in Political Science, and studied Finance and Accounting at Harvard. He gained experience at Viant Capital, a boutique investment bank providing sell-side advisory services technology companies, and RBC Dominion Securities. He’s also been involved in several other entrepreneurial ventures. Beyond his entrepreneurial endeavors, Dan is a travel enthusiast, a big hockey fan, and enjoys contemporary architecture, impressionist paintings, and Chinese art from the Qing Dynasty.

Based in the Netherlands, Can Ersoz is the Manager of Information Systems for Yakult Europe B.V. since 2007. Yakult Europe is headquartered in the Netherlands with a production facility and sales and marketing offices in 8 European countries including one in London. Can has lead Yakult Europe through centralization of pan-European IT operations, consolidation of IT services and, in 2011, in its adoption of a range of cloud technologies. He has over 10 years of experience in IT management with a focus on IT transformation and strategy. He has MBA and MSc in Management Information Systems degrees.

Matthew Finnie drives the company's advanced services strategy, including developing the platform that has allowed the company to launch its industry-leading VOIP, Ethernet and Media products. Trained as an electrical engineer, he helped develop early IP-product innovations, including one of the first commercial applications of VOIP a decade ago. As head of the Enterprise Service Development Group at Vocaltec, he worked with European/US carriers and multi-national corporations to launch converged communication services. Matthew was also the co-founder of US-based Internet start-up Insitu, which developed real-time IP collaboration tools. Matthew has degrees in electrical and electronic engineering and marketing.

Chas White is the Senior Vice President for Data Centre Services at Tata Communications.  He has worked with the company for five years and has been instrumental in the transition from VSNL, the national telephone entity in India, into Tata Communications, a managed services provider with offerings in the areas of managed security, hosting, colocation+, cloud services, and remote infrastructure management. Mr. White’s primary responsibilities are in the Managed Services Operations Centre in Chennai, India and due to Tata Communication’s global data centers footprint  he also divides his time between India, Singapore, South Africa, the UK, and US.

Peter joined Isle of Man Government in 2005 bringing his extensive business experience and knowledge in Supply Chain Logistics, Manufacturing Systems and Information Technology to the public sector leading the strategic improvement of its Shared Infrastructure and Services. The Isle of Man has deployed a Hybrid Cloud Service to all Departments of Government providing effective Shared Services. Prior to the Isle of Man Government he worked on large and small Change Programs in the Private and Public sector.

Currently CIO for Essex County Council, David is establishing a new strategy for the County based on cloud adoption, shared services through collaboration and a move towards self service provision through digital engagement including take-up of social media.

David was previously CIO for Westminster City Council where he set up and implemented an exciting new ICT strategy based on the principles of customer centric service delivery, a zero infrastructure technology environment and transformational change, resulting in cost reductions of over 30% and dramatically improved customer satisfaction levels.

Fiaz Mansha is an Executive Vice President and the Head of IT at Gatehouse Bank. With over 18 years of experience in the IT and finance industry, his current role champions the strategic importance and value of IT to the board and senior management. He has previously worked at an award winning stock broker firm, where he was the Chief Information Officer. Among many other achievements he managed and developed one of the most successful online trading platforms in the UK.

Andrew heads up IT for Greenpeace UK, the Environmental Campaigning Organization.  He works closely with his Campaigning colleagues on a number of Green IT issues, including Cloud Computing. He has held technical positions in a number of different organizations, including HMV Media Group where he led the Internet technology team for their books brand and at more recently at Oxfam GB, where he managed the Solution Development division.

David joined thetrainline.com from Betfair where he initially had the role of Director of Engineering, went on to found the Betfair’s venture capital arm and after raising funding he moved to become Co-Founder MD of Tradefair, a spin-out, targeting exchange traded financial derivatives.  David’s earlier career includes the CTO/VP roles within start-up companies such as ITIM, Zygon and Digitivity and leading engineering teams at blue-chip businesses Citrix, Novell and Borland.

Billy Waters has 20 years of retail and leisure industry experience. Moving up through the ranks at YO! Sushi throughout a 7 year period Billy progressed from the role of General Manager to his current post in head office by maximising his natural skills in the technical area. His key achievements include; the roll out of a fully integrated EPOS and MIS system across 50 restaurants, overseeing the development and implementation of the YO! To Go e-commerce web facility, implementation of VOIP telephony company wide and most recently, the migration of the on site email system to the new cloud based Office 365 from Microsoft.

Peter is an internationally sought after guru who invests his time and money as an agent of change. With over 40 years of technology and operational experience, Peter has been involved in the creation and transformation of corporations. His BT career saw him progress to CTO with teams engaged in optical fiber, fixed and mobile networks, artificial life and healthcare, through to war gaming, eCommerce, and business modeling.

Graham Hobson co-founded Photobox with friend and colleague Mark Chapman in 2000, and assumed the CEO position for the first 6 years of the company. Graham is now Chief Technology Officer for the Photobox group across Europe. Photobox acquired world leading on-line greeting card service Moonpig.com earlier this year. Previously Graham provided technology consultancy to various investment banks including Merrily Lynch, Union Bank of Switzerland and Baring Securities.

Tareq Alemadi, is Currently head of Information Technology at the office of Her Highness Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser.  Also, he is a Vice General Manager for Alemadi Group.  Tareq is responsible for building and maintaining a highly available, scalable, and centralised IT infrastructure. Prior to his current position, Tareq worked for over a decade at Qatar Telecom in various positions including the role of Project Manager for the company’s electronic portal.
