Mark Adams - Wright is a highly experienced professional who has spent the last 12 years as a senior manager in the areas of IT and customer services with a range of public and private sector organisations. Mark began his management career with Diageo as European Customer Service Manager then on to DHL as Head of Global Programmes and has held roles with other blue chip organisations including Santander as Head of IT Service Control management and Dell Global services as Global and EMEA Business Technologies Lead.
Mark is currently Chief Information Officer and Customer Service Director with Suffolk County Council. Suffolk County Council is at the cutting edge of changes in the public services and Mark is playing a key role in the delivery of those changes fronting a challenging Suffolk-wide strategy for technology driven business transformation incorporating the fast track development and deployment of integrated technical models designed to bring together the public sector bodies of Suffolk and reduce costs to Suffolk citizens. Mark is also Chair and Founder of East of England CIO and Suffolk ICT Leaders Forums, Technical Advisor to the Suffolk Better Broadband Initiative and an active corporate member of Society of IT Management, leading the CIO Leadership stream of SOCITM’s Planting the Flag Strategy
In the little spare time he has, Mark enjoys playing squash, watching his beloved Wycombe Wanderers FC and chilling out with his family and dogs and puppies.
