Graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Information Technology from Dublin Institute of Technology, Mojtaba joined British Telecom Ireland as a Network Support Consultant where he provided support services to a wide range of internal and external clients. During his time with BT he has been involved in diverse range of projects focusing mainly on broadband access and services. In 2007, Mojtaba joined The K club as Head of IT where he is responsible to provide executive direction and supervision for all entities within Information Systems inside the organization.
He has developed and introduced an up to date network infrastructure model benefiting from reduced energy consumption and hardware infrastructure cost by virtualization and optimal allocation of organization’s computing resources through a private cloud system.
In addition to IT operations, Mojtaba is currently leading The K Club’s Green Team activities in implementing effective IT and security monitoring policies to achieve sustainable management systems. This will be achieved by investigating appropriate renewable energy sources, waste reduction and adoption of cloud computing technologies.
As part of a Research for Dublin Institute of Technology- Ireland , Mojtaba is also carrying out a comprehensive research study to investigate the viability of cloud computing services for the Irish public sector based on pooled international resources and paying particular regard to potential risk, security concerns and solutions these might entail.
