John Sculley is a Managing Partner along with former EDS and Perot Systems CEO, Mort Meyerson in InflexionPoint, an IT and financial services investment firm. InflexionPoint has offices in London, Delhi, Dallas, Boca Raton,FL and Toronto. John Sculley is best known as the marketing innovator who lead Pepsi-Cola Co. As CEO from 1978 - 1982 and CEO of Apple from 1983 - 1993. During his era, "Pepsi Generation" & "Pepsi Challenge" helped propel Pepsi to the largest selling packaged consumer brand in America. Sculley was recruited by Steve Jobs to help bring big brand consumer marketing to Apple. During Sculley's 10 years as Apple CEO, he helped launch Apple IIe, Macintosh in 1984, Desktop Publishing, and the Apple Powerbook. By the time Sculley retired from Apple in 1993 Apple was the largest selling PC brand in the world and the most profitable computer firm.
Since leaving Apple, John Sculley has been acquiring, investing and mentoring serial entrepreneurs and CEOs helping build transformational technology-enabled companies in information technology, financial services, telecommunication and healthcare.
John Sculley graduated from Brown University; earned his MBA at The Wharton Business School; and was awarded a PhD at Johns Hopkins University.
He was chosen as Marketing CEO of the Decade by Financial News Network; Advertising Person of the Year by both Advertising Age & Brand Management Magazine.
